Madrid did not allow the Catalans to win in the capital in the first two games of the final, and then after losing by one in the third, sealed the title with solvency in the fourth game. In the ACB 2016, we lived a Real Madrid vs Barcelona in the final, the fifth in a row. Again, Real Madrid won the title, beating the blaugranas by (1-3). The whites, with a field factor against, started a victory on the opposite field, and closed the tie in the fourth. It’s been 22 years since we’ve seen a repeat ACB champion
In 2016, the cup was held in A Coruña, where Real Madrid continued their tyranny in the cup by winning the tournament for the third time in a row. In the final, the Whites beat a Herbalife team that got into the final against all odds, by a tight score (85-81). The islanders fought but finally gave in to the push of some whites led by MVP Gustavo Ayon
