Olympic Games 2021 Final: The United States takes its fourth consecutive gold medal

The 2020 Olympic Games, held in Tokyo, were forced to be postponed to 2021 because of the coronavirus pandemic. In the semifinals, the United States had little trouble beating Australia (97-78). Much more disputed was the semifinal between Doncic’s Slovenia and France, which was decided in favor of the Gauls by (90-89) thanks to a block by Batum in the last play. In the grand final, the United States won the Gold by beating France by a narrow (87-82). It was a victory without much shine but really effective, led by Durant who won his third gold. France, 21 years later, felt again the sweet cold of the silver. In the fight for the bronze medal, Australia broke its jinx in the Games and won the metal beating Slovenia (107-93) with a stellar Mills (42 points 9 assists)

2016 Olympic Games Final: Serbia was no match for the all-powerful United States

In 2016, the Olympic Games were held in Rio de Janeiro, where the United States beat Spain by a tight 76-82 in the semifinals. At the other crossing, Serbia beat Australia more clearly (61-87). In the fight for the Bronze Spain made history by winning its third medal in the last three games, although it had to suffer until the final whistle to win the oceanic (89-88). In 2014 the World Cup was held in Spain, where the United States showed in the final from the first quarter against Serbia that they were at another level. With an intense defensive rhythm and leaving with fast transitions in attack, the USA broke the final (129-92) and the gold was for them with total authority. Although the match distributed happiness equally because also for the Serbs was a great day, 12 years later they returned to win a world medal

World Champion Final 2010: United States ends long drought

In the summer of 2010, the World Basketball Championship is held in Turkey, where in the grand final, everyone finished happily, the United States won the Gold sixteen years later, and Turkey for the first time in its history would win an intercontinental medal, the World Silver and as host a success for the country. In the summer of 2008, the Beijing Olympic Games were played in China, where in the grand final the United States won the Gold by beating Spain by 118-107, in a deceptive result, since a minute and a half from the end the difference was only 4 points. One of the best finals of the Olympic Games that is remembered for the quality and good play of both teams. The USA recovered the Gold after 8 years of crossing in the desert and Spain equaled its silver 24 years later
