In 2006, the final four was held in the Ukrainian city of Kiev, where Joventut won a continental title again 12 years later. In the final they beat Khimki by a clear margin (88-63). Rudy Fernandez, was the MVP of the final tournament

In the final Khimki started better (2-9), but Joventut quickly recovered (15-12), and with the passing of the minutes they showed that it was their moment, that it was clear that they were going to be launched to the title (43-30), and (69-52) with 10 minutes to go.
