NBA Final 2013: Third final and second title for the Miami Heat

por Roberto Anidos publicado en 2013 Decade 2010 Miami Heat NBA San Antonio Spurs

In the 2.013 NBA the reign of Lebron James continued, the third final and second consecutive title of the Miami Heat. This year they didn’t have it as easy as last year they had a tough rival in the final, the San Antonio Spurs. The Texans returned to a final six years later and their veteran stars fought to the end for the ring, even in quite a few phases of the series seemed to touch it with their fingers

With (2-3) in his favour, in the sixth match they had him in their hand but a final comeback raised by a triple by Allen to four seconds to draw, win in extra time and force the seventh, was too much for the forces of the «spurs». James and his team-mates made the most of their pitch and came from behind to take the play-offs in a 4-3 thriller, one of the best finals in recent years. James year after year is accumulating a mega star palmares, for the second consecutive year NBA champion, 2 MVP and 2 MVP of the final, only two more players have achieved it in history. Lebrom and his Miami are the established power, they are the kings of the NBA.
