In the semifinals, Besiktas won the Turkish derby against Bahcesehir by a decisive 2-0 margin, taking the first game by a wide margin of 91-72 and then sealing the victory in the second with a solid 72-82 win.
In the other semifinal, JL Bourg, the only non-Turkish team in the semifinals, defeated Bahcesehir 2-1. And that’s despite the fact that things didn’t start well for them after suffering a tough 71-99 loss in the first game on their home court, but they went on to win the second game on the road 73-76 and secure their spot in the final by winning the third game, this time by a clear 94-78 margin.
After a long journey, the EuroCup reached its grand final—also a best-of-three series—between JL Bourg and Besiktas. A final that was decided quickly, with two wins for the French team.
In the first game, JL Bourg secured a solid road victory by defeating Besiktas 60-72 in a game they controlled for most of the night thanks to their physical superiority and dominance on the offensive glass.
The French team made its mark from the start, setting the pace and capitalizing on second-chance opportunities to close out the game with a commanding 37-26 advantage in offensive rebounds. Besiktas rallied in the fourth quarter, which they won 19-17, but never found the consistency needed to seriously threaten the visitors’ lead.
Maxime Adam led Bourg with 14 points and 9 rebounds, ably supported by M. Assemian, who scored 13 points, and M. Tre, who added 11 points and 6 rebounds. A. Tajuan, with 10 points, and G. Both, with 9, also contributed on offense.
For the Turkish team, A. Brown was the top performer with 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists, while Ante Zizic added 13 points and 8 rebounds. J. Mathews contributed 9 points, though Besiktas’s extensive rotation of eleven players did not yield the expected results.

In the second game, JL Bourg wrote the most glorious chapter in its history by claiming the EuroCup title after defeating Besiktas 73-71 and sweeping the final (2-0). The French team thus lifts its first continental title and also secures its spot in the 2026-27 EuroLeague.
The team coached by Frédéric Fauthoux came out with tremendous energy and struck first with a strong start, closing out the first quarter with a 25-17 lead thanks to their defensive intensity and dominance in the paint. However, Besiktas rallied before halftime with a 23-13 run in the second quarter to take the lead at the break (40-38).
After the break, Bourg reimposed its defense and held the Turkish team to just 12 points in the third quarter. That stretch allowed the home team to regain control of the game and enter the final ten minutes with a 55-52 lead.
The finish was incredibly tense. Besiktas never stopped fighting and remained in contention until the final possession, but Kevin Kokila’s composure from the free-throw line and Adam Mokoka’s work on the offensive glass kept Bourg in the game during the decisive moments.
Kokila was the standout performer with 18 points, 6 rebounds, and a PIR of 27, while Adam Mokoka recorded 17 points and 10 rebounds. Tre Mitchell, with 9 points, and William McDowell-White, who added another 9 points, also played key roles.
For Besiktas, Ante Zizic led the way with 14 points and 8 rebounds, well supported by Jonah Mathews, who scored 18 points, and Brynton Lemar, who added 13. The Turkish team paid dearly for its 24% shooting from three-point range (6-for-25) and was unable to complete the comeback.
