In 1994 the Korac final was played by Stefanel Milan and PAOK Thessaloniki, where the Greeks were clearly superior, winning both matches, with Prelevic on the outside and the Berry and Savic duo on the inside, making the difference

Semi-finals
Panionios – PAOK Thessaloniki
Trieste – Olympia Milan

In the first leg of the Cup final Korać, PAOK Thessaloniki beat Stefanel Trieste 75-66. After a brilliant start by the Italian team (2-10), supported by Calavita’s good defence over Berry, the locals responded with a 9-0 score that levelled the match. Another tremendous 18-4 partial in favour of PAOK, between the first and second half, served to open an important gap in favour of the Greek team (49-32), who knew how to manage their advantage until the end to achieve a victory that leaves everything in the air for the return match in Trieste, where Stefanel will have the support of their fans and will surely have better throwing percentages than in Thessaloniki (a poor 2 out of 19 in shots of three). PAOK Thessaloniki won the Korać Cup after brilliantly beating Stefanel in the second leg of the final in Trieste. The Italians tried to impose a fast pace to neutralise the nine-point deficit they had brought from Greek soil, but this strategy only made the job easier for PAOK, who gave a whole shooting clinic: 25/26 from free kicks, 24/38 from 2 and 9/11 from 3. After an even first half, Stefanel gained their biggest lead in the second half after a 12-2 draw (66-60). Gentile then had a chance to tie the game for Stefanel, but his triple shot didn’t go in. Korfas and Prelević drew the score again (66-65) before the match went into a spectacular triple-festival phase (three for each team). The exchange of baskets clearly benefited PAOK, who were able to keep a cool head and a warm wrist to deal with Stefanel’s desperate fouls from the sidelines. In the end, PAOK won 91 to 100, becoming the first Greek team to win the Cup Korać.
