In 1995, Baskonia were again defeated, as they had been a year earlier, in the Cup Winners’ Cup final in Istanbul. This time the Basques were defeated against Benetton Treviso, who led by Naumoski and Woolridge won by (94-86). Kenny Green’s great game was of little use

Semi-finals
Benetton Treviso – Antibes (2-1)
Iraklis – Baskonia (1-2)

For the second year running, Taugrés lost the European Cup again, although unlike in the final in Lausanne, the team from Vitoria had won the King’s Cup the week before. Benetton were also in high spirits, having just won the Italian Cup and gone on to win their first European title. The bad game of Perasović (only 19 points with bad throwing percentages for a man who goes easily over 30 points) made useless the enormous superiority of Taugrés under the hoops (37 rebounds for 21 of their rivals). The foul problems of Rivas, who had played a great first half, left too much only in the second half to a splendid Kenny Green (26 points, 13 rebounds and 5 blocks).
