They didn’t count on them, France and Serbia, even Greece took all the spotlights. But in the end Spain and Lithuania showed that their basketball should never be dismissed. The Eurobasket final was marked by the Lithuanians’ lack of success and this allowed Spain to dominate from start to finish. The Lithuanians tried but could do nothing before the umpteenth exhibition of Spain and the MVP Pau Gasol tournament, which signed 25 points and 12 rebounds, well seconded by Llull (12 points 6 rebounds 5 assists) and Rudy with 11 points before injury.
A dream start for Spain
