In the 2022 EuroCup, this time, Virtus Bologna lived up to its status as favorite after beating Bursaspor in the final (80-67). Milos Teodosic, who led his team in both attack and direction, won the MVP
Unlike other years, the EuroCup changed its usual format for a do-or-die, single-game playoff system. An all-or-nothing game that brought many surprises.

The Italians, playing at home, came out more in tune and clearly dominated the first minutes of the final (25-12). A +13 that they were able to ration during a large part of the final.
Bursaspor, surprising finalists – it should be remembered that they eliminated the other favorite of the competition, Obradovic’s Partizan, in the round of 16 – never had much chance of jeopardizing the Virtus title, being unable to reduce the gap to less than seven points.
