In 2012 the final four of the EuroCup was held in Moscow, on the Khimki court, where the local team took advantage of this court factor to beat Valencia Basket (77-68) in the final. Zoran Planinic was chosen as MVP of the final tournament

Buducnost – Valencia Basket
Lietuvos Rytas – Donetsk
Nymburk – Spartak
Khimki – Lokomotiv Kuban

Valencia Basket 80 – Lietuvos Rytas 70
Spartak 73 – Khimki 77

The truth is that Khimki dominated, although Valencia did not lower their arms at any time, and did not give the impression of letting go, giving the face at all times (52-50), even getting to tie the light (66-66) a few minutes from the end. But just when it looked like we might have some tension on the final few moves, Khimki hit the target and made it 11-2 to seal the final.
