EuroBasket Final 1985: Soviet Union sweeps away

In the summer of 1985 the EuroBasket was held in Stuttgart, where the Soviet Union, after the boycott suffered a year earlier in Los Angeles, swept Czechoslovakia in the final by 120-89

In the semifinals the Soviet Union defeated Italy by 112-96, and Czechoslovakia defeated Spain by 98-95. In the fight for the Bronze, the metal went to Italy after beating Spain by 102-90.
